Marian

Marian is one of the people that can be found around the town. She is the maid of Ashdown Manor.

Appearance

Marian keeps her reddish brown hair in a bun, though it seldom stays neat all day. She wears a frilly white headband and full-length apron over a black high-neck dress with lace trim and brown shoes.

Personality

Marian is kind-hearted and hard-working, but her clumsy nature does often get her into trouble. She may not be the most skilled or delicate, but she always knows when someone is in need of a hot cup of tea.

Relationships

The Duchess

The Duchess is Marian’s current employer at the Ashdown Manor.

Cutscenes

One-Heart

Marian is polishing the mantelpiece clock in the manor when Mr Mortimer approaches. He reminds her that she forgot to put away the rags after wiping the floors, and that shoe polish should not be used on clocks. He offers to teach her, but Marian is too disheartened by her mistakes and needs a moment to cry.

Two-Heart

You, Marian and Elsie are talking and they tell you that the Duchess' Cousin is coming for a visit. Marian used to work for him, and his nephew tried to kiss her, which is why she was supposed to be fired. The Duchess stepped in thought and employed Marian, which Elsie also expresses her gratitude for. You promise Marian to wait with her and stay by her side until the nephew is gone again.

She offers you to change your character (looks but also name and gender) at her vanity set which is in her house next to her bed.
